Sarina Stone - Director
Sarina Stone is a Certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor, many times over, and certified massage therapist/instructor. She is one of only 2 certified Chi Nei Tsang (Chinese/Thai abdominal massage) instructors in Minnesota.
Sarina received the bulk of her medical Chi Kung training over the past 15 years in Thailand under the direct supervision of renowned author Taoist master, Mantak Chia.
Miss Stone offers sanctioned Universal Healing Tao courses in Inner Smile, Six Healing Sounds, MicroCosmic Orbit, Iron Shirt Chi Kung, Healing Love for Ladies, Healing Love for Couples and Chi Nei Tsang.
Miss Stone teaches in classroom, weekend workshop and retreat formats and all course hours count toward Universal Healing Tao certification. It is with great pleasure that she fulfill her promise to her teacher, Master Chia, and offer her experience as the director of the first approved Universal Healing Tao Center in the Twin Cities.

Bryan Bertsch - Chief Administrator
Bryan Bertsch offers Chi Kung Healing Treatments, focusing on the Chakra Energetic System. These techniques promote a healthy physical, mental and spiritual body and support the bodies' self healing process.
Bryan is a Certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor since 2001, studying directly with Mantak Chia at the Tao Garden Healing Facility in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He is certified for Inner Smile, Six Healing Sounds, MicroCosmic Orbit, Iron Shirt, and Healing Love. He has over six years training under Bill Torvund, creator of Sanctuary of the On, and graduated from Bill's two year Healing Mastery course in 2003. He is currently enrolled in The Center for Wholeness three year Inter-faith Ministry program.
Bryan teaches 'Healing and Transformation' Meditation classes focusing on the Inner Smile, Six Healing Sounds and MicroCosmic Orbit. He is also available for private instructions in Healing Love (for Men) and Fusion of the Five Elements.

Andrea Sullivan
Andrea Sullivan is a Nationally Certified Massage and Bodywork Practitioner, Certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor, Certified Shiatsu Practitioner and Certified Thai Yoga Practitioner. She was educated at CenterPoint Massage School and continues to study Medical Chi Kung under Taoist Master, Mantak Chia and Sarina Stone.
Andrea offers courses, which count toward certification as a Universal Healing Tao Instructor.

Jacintha Roemer
Jacintha (Jaz) Roemer is a Certified Shiatsu Massage Therapist. In 2006 she graduated from the Shiatsu program at CenterPoint Massage and Shiatsu School. Through this school she was taught Namikoshi Shiatsu and Shiatsu Anma which she currently practiced at two clinics in the Twin Cities area. Since 2005 she has studied with Universal Healing Tao Instructor Sarina Stone, attending the various classes offered by Sarina including Basic/Advanced Medical Chi Kung, Chi Nei Tsang, and Healing Love.
Jacintha is a Universal Healing Tao Teacher in Training, has been a teacher assistant for both Sarina Stone and Universal Healing Tao Instructor Andrea Sullivan. In 2008 she spent 4 weeks at Tao Gardens in Chaing Mai, Thailand certifying to become a Universal Healing Tao Instructor under Taoist Master Mantak Chia. Jacintha also studied Body Mind Centering, a movement based meditation for two and a half years at the University of Minnesota while getting her BA in Studio Arts. Jacintha offers courses, which count toward certification as a Universal Healing Tao Instructor.

Timpthy Wheeler
Tim Wheeler has been studying and practicing various forms of Chi Kung (Energy Work) since 1997. He studied Universal Healing Tao methods with Sarina Stone, and was certified by Master Mantak Chia in Chiang Mai Thailand at the Univerasal Tao Center in 2000. Tim has also studied Chi Kung in Minnesota with Master Gin Foon Mark 1997-2006, Yanchy Lacska 2000-2007, and Russell Demarais. He is currently working toward a certification in Tui Na (Oriental medical massage) at the AAAOM in Minnesota. Tim's Universal Healing Tao course hours count toward Universal Healing Tao certification.

Chi Field Clearing and Tonification. This treatment involves clearing obstructions in the body by working with the acupuncture channels using Chi and light massage to rejuvinate and energize. The client will frequently be taught Chi Kung exercises for continued self healing.
Ben Cohen
Ben Cohen is a certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor. He has studied under the supervision of Taoist master, Mantak Chia and certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor, Sarina Stone.
He currently practices several Asian Bodywork Therapies (ABT) at the Center for Alternative Healing in Apple Valley, MN. Ben has attended the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for Tui Na, a medical massage based on Chinese Medicine. In addition to the Asian Bodywork, Ben has studied Craniosacral Therapy through both the Upledger Institute and Milne Institute.
Ben's Universal Healing Tao courses are sanctioned and count toward your certification process.

Eric Lengvenis
Eric Lengvenis has been studying Universal Healing Tao practices for since 2004. He certified as a Universal Healing Tao instructor in Basic practices in 2008 under Master Mantak Chia at the Tao Garden training facility in Chaing Mai, Thailand. Aside from his medical Chi Kung education has also studied basic Nei Gung (breathing meditation associated with Taoist practices) as well as some Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage). His major interests lie in meditation and the yoga-like practices of Tao Yin and Iron Shirt. His other studies include the martial arts of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, and nature/wilderness awareness such as found in the Sioux lineage of Native American traditions. Eric is great with kids and has 2 beautiful daughters. He is happy to work with those interested in finding the optimal path to radiant physical and mental health. Eric's Universal Healing Tao Basic course hours count toward Universal Healing Tao certification.

David Meyer
Sibok David Meyer has been training in Shaolin Kenpo Karate under Great Grandmaster Ralph Castro since 1991 and holds the rank of Fifth Degree Black Belt. He is committed to women's safety and teaches the SHARP (Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention) Program, and is a certified instructor through PPCT Management Inc. He is the owner and principal instructor of Running Tiger Shaolin Kenpo in St. Paul.
With the help and support of Sarina Stone, David is currently studying Universal Healing Tao's Tai Chi Chi Kung with respected Universal Healing Tao Instructor Lee Holden. In 2008 David is traveling to Tao Garden in Chiang Mai, Thailand to study Tai Chi with Taoist Master Li Hechun.
David teaches regular weekly classes in Shaolin Kenpo to adults and children at the Running Tiger studio, teaches self defense at Hamline University and women's self defense workshops at area women's shelters. He plans to begin teaching Tai Chi Chi Kung after his return from Tao Garden in 2008.

Riki Robinson
Riki Robinson has been a student of Universal Healing Tao energy work since the early 1990s. He certified as a Universal Healing Tao Associate Instructor at Tao Garden in Thailand in 1999, and recertified in 2008 as a full instructor. A traveling comedian, Riki emphasizes the importance of the being the Joy of the Tao in your everyday life. He coauthored the book,Why Real Women Drink Straight Tequila - the Tao of Intimacy, on seizing control of your dating life with Sarina Stone under the name R. Mordant Mahon. We don't get to see too much of Riki as his travel schedule keeps him out of MN most of the year, so keep in touch to find out when you can take a class from this truly funny, talented, educated man.

Julie Kaminski
Julie has extensive knowledge of anatomy through her 6.5 years as a massage therapist, over 10 years as an Iyengar-style yoga instructor, 3 years working as a physical therapy assistant, and 1.5 years as a fitness trainer. Julie graduated from Centerpoint School of Massage in 2002. She has obtained Certificates in Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Pregnancy massage. She also has studied Aromatherapy & Reflexology, and Positional Release. She is pursuing a certification in Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage) & Universal Healing Tao Basic instructor status at Tao Garden in Chiang Mai, Thailand in January 2008. Melissa Cathcart, DIPL. AC.
Melissa brings something very special to any wellness program because she works with women and children, as well as other adult modalities. She has been a home-birth midwife since 1991 after training in midwifery at Casa de Nacimiento in El Paso TX (free-standing midwifery clinic). She has been an acupuncturist since 2000 through the MN Institute of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies (now part of Northwestern Health Sciences University). She also certified as a Universal Healing Tao Instructor and Chi Nei Tsang Practitioner in 2008.
Manual modalities are vital to Melissa's practice. Melissa studied Visceral Manipulation at the Barral Institute. VM is a gentle manual technique for promoting functional vitality of organs by assuring proper movement of the organs along their attachments and proper alignment in relationship to surrounding structures. She also studied Cranio-Sacral Therapy with Dr. Carol Phillips, D.C. and Dr. Maureen Schwear, N.D.
She continues to study Medical Chi Kung with Taoist Master, Mantak Chia and certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor, Sarina Stone.

Mary Ellen Derwis-Balaz Lmt. is a nationally certified NCBTMB provider (#45107-09), Chi Nei Tsang Institute Instructor, and Universal Healing Tao practitioner. She has been a Licensed MT for 18 years and practices in Ohio and Hawaii. Mary Ellen has a broad perspective in body work having studied with John Upledger, John Barnes, Paul St. John as well as Kahuna Kimo Kamauna in Hawaii.
This experience has provided her with the ability to integrate eastern and western views in the practice of massotherapy. Thus she provides a truly holistic approach to bodywork for the practitioner.
